On Monday, all of Year 6 (with lots of support from parents) went to Salisbury Cathedral to take part in the special Leavers’ Service. During the morning, the children learnt about the parable of the mustard seed and how this links with growing, moving on and a time of transition in their lives as they prepare to move to secondary school. With lots of the others schools from across Wiltshire, they learnt songs, created pieces of art and acted out elements of the story. In the afternoon, they all took part in the special service alongside the Bishop of Salisbury and Christian theatre group – Rise Theatre. A brilliant day!
